Collection: The Great Frog
Since the '70s The Great Frog have provided a rock 'n' roll antidote to mainstream jewellery. 50 years on and we're still producing high quality, handmade jewellery in the heart of London.
The first The Great Frog shop was opened by Carol Lehtonen and Paterson Riley in 1972 on legendary Carnaby Street. London’s rock’n’roll jewelers was born.
The ’80s saw the brand’s relationships with bands and musicians blossom with the likes of Metallica’s Cliff Burton, Led Zeppelin, Motörhead’s Lemmy and Iron Maiden.
Reino, Carol and Paterson’s son, takes over the family business in the early 2000s as Creative Director and Designer of The Great Frog.
Over the next two decades TGF stores begin to pop up all over the world – in L.A, New York and Japan. Reino’s cousin and 2nd generation TGF jeweller Imogen Lehtonen-Soto is at the helm of the L.A store.
TGF remain the favourite jewellers of the world’s most significant musicians and artists, continuing our ‘70s legacy. Clientele includes Josh Homme, Jay Z, Jimmy Page, Skepta and Harry Styles.
